The Snyder’s
Morning Aaron, I had a nice hike up with some of the Snyder crew. We had some good laughs reminiscing on you and Chalaine’s friendship. It was nice to show them your bench. And talk about your smile.

He has joined his Grandfather, Arthur Tschritter in his heavenly home.
Aaron was born on January 2nd 1992 in Chilliwack BC. From the time he was little, Aaron was an incredibly kind and happy boy, making friends wherever he went. His parents instilled in him kindness, empathy, and an astonishing worth ethic that followed him through his entire life.
From his first job at the family business, Hot Rods and Classics to his career in real estate with Century 21 in Chilliwack, Aaron excelled at whatever he put his mind to.
Shortly after graduating high school from Sardis Secondary in 2010, he met his wife Melissa in 2011 at the age of 19. By May 25, 2013 he was blissfully married at 21. The young couple enjoyed many years together traveling and growing ever closer before they had their son Judah on May 24, 2019. Since then, Aaron has been the most devoted and adoring father. He always was sure to prioritize his wife & son above all else.
In his last days on earth, Aaron reconnected deeply with many friends and family he had lost touch with over the years. He was a constant stability in many lives, always concerned about others happiness, success and salvation. Aaron was never jealous, he genuinely loved to see others succeed and even more so when he could help them attain their goals. Nothing made Aaron more happy than seeing the happiness of others.

Missing you!
Came to sit in your spot and remember you. Say hi to Jeremy for us!
I’m 32 today
Just wanted to say I love you and have been thinking of you (everyday of course) but more than ever today. Weird that I’m now 3 years older than you when you died. I miss you immensely and love you endlessly. I have new joy in my life and I’m pretty grateful for the restoration God has brought to me, I’m sure you had a hand in that. It’s just still so strange to see 1992-2021 next to your name… I am grateful for the time we had 🤍 I love you!
I just miss you.
I miss you so much. I think of you every day & I wish Judah could hang out with his daddy just once. It makes me sick to think about it, so I honestly try not to. Probably that’s not healthy. But what other choice do I have. I miss you Goose. I love you.
4th Christmas without you
Some things that absolutely gut me is that Judah was only 1 when you unknowingly spent your last Christmas with us. You only got 2 Christmases with us as a family. It should have been a lifetime. It’s so unfair that we don’t get to have a lifetime of Christmases and holidays with you. Judah is so much like you it almost hurts. He is a goofy little prankster, a master negotiator and is the spitting image of you. He was in the Christmas play tonight and you would have swelled with love and pride watching him. He had no practice and was so nervous, but held it together so bravely. It broke my heart all over again that you have missed so much & that he’s such a different boy than the one you last knew. I miss you so much, there’s almost nothing I wouldn’t do to have even 10 minutes more with you. I love you Goose. Always have and always will. 🤍 merry Christmas my love.
Mama + boogie hike
Today we hiked up to your bench & sat with you awhile. We love to talk about you & relay to Judah all the amazing times we got together as a family. He knows how much you love him, we tell him daily. I hope you get the hugs and love we send your way. Love you, Goose.
3 years.
It’s hard to believe we haven’t heard your laughter or seen your smile for 3 years now. We miss you so much every single passing season and month. The kids have all grown taller and changed so much. They still talk about all their memories with you all the time. You would be so proud of all the kids, especially Judah. He is your absolute mini me. We cherish him as he reminds us so much of you. Love and miss you forever 💗
Crisp fall run
I ran qoqo:lem today. I love this trail cause it just reminds me so much of you. I kept thinking about the first times we did Mt Thom with pastor when he bribed us with energy drinks in our fat newlywed phase 🤣 and every 10 mins we would have to take a breather. Pastor would run up in 45 mins and by the time he was coming back down, we were still not at the top. I think it took about 6 tries before we ever saw the lookout on Thom 🤣 but the last summer you had, we were competing who could make it to the top in under half an hour. I'm so grateful for all the growth and love and time we got together. I miss you, love. I hope you're running and breathing the crispest most fresh air we could ever imagine. I'll bet the view in heaven make ours look like a garbage dump. I can't wait to share them with you!
Happy fall, Goose.
This time of year is tough, it reminds us so much of the last few months we unknowingly had with you. I am running the loop the vedder in November in your honour. I miss you so much every single day. Judah is in kindergarten this year and he is loving it. He is definitely your son lol he loves pranks & is constantly trying to negotiate deals with us. 🤣 soon it will be Halloween, I will post a picture of Judah in his costume. He loves Mario, sonic & Pokémon so he's probably going to dress up as any one of those. Hard to believe the last Halloween you were with us, he was too young to have an opinion on his costume.. now he's VERY opinionated 😅 we love you endlessly and miss you immensely.
Best Uncle Ever
We miss you so much Aaron, the boys wanted to visit your bench today. I think you would be amused at Flora, or really annoyed. Probably secretly you would like her 😉 Fraser- “I miss you, best Uncle ever! Minus when you gave me a huge wedgie” Fynn- “Thinking of the good times, I learnt how to throw my football you gave me.”
Happy Father's day
Happy fathers day my Goose. We miss you so much. I hope you get to have peeks at the way Judah is growing up. He is such a chip off the ol block. He is a silly little prankster who likes to stir the pot, just like someone else I know. 😜 a little shit disturber if you will. He's also the sweetest boy. He is always sure to tell me how much he loves me everyday. The other day he wanted to pray that Jesus would give you a hug from him. I hope you loved the hug, it's extra specially from your little booboo. He loves you and loves learning all about the incredibly loving daddy you are. We will never let him go a single day without telling him of your love. We love you. ❤️
We miss you ❤️
Bear and I spent time listening to the eagle song in the rain chatting about our favourite memories with you. We miss you Aaron, you would have loved this place!
Miss you daddy ♡
We visited your bench today and talked all about you. We miss you so much and can't wait to see you in heaven one day. 🤍 love you forever, Mama and Judah
Merry Christmas 2023
Merry Christmas uncle Aaron. We miss you!
December 12th
2 years man. It’s a gorgeous day today - a December with Fireball Golf Day. I want to love you my usual way today and re-arrange all of your stuff. But I don’t need to be cancelled because someone sees me turning your memorial items around haha. It’s a beautiful spot here brother. Nothing but love and smiles. Miss you always. Taylor & Maddy
A winter night
The thing that will never get easier with grief is one minute I’m fine, the next I’m walking out of Costco into the most clear, crisp winter evening and it hits me like a sucker punch that I will never get to enjoy another night like this with you. And at the same time cruelly reminding me that you died on a night exactly like this. Nights like this are Canucks games at Roger’s arena, freezing our asses off at the outdoor Costco concession eating hot dogs and poutine before hand. Wandering around Whistler with hot coffee from Starbucks laughing at our own stupid little inside jokes. Driving aimlessly through cultus lake or promontory in your truck, Tim Hortons steeped teas in hand, admiring Christmas lights, you pointing out all the homes you’ve sold while Judah sleeps peacefully in the back seat. Me & Matt walking out of Dallas airport into the crisp clear Texas night. A beautiful awful horrid night. A night like this. Feeling everything and nothing at all. Wanting nothing but to go home, but home is YOU and that doesn’t exist anymore. I feel like I’ve fallen into the very pit of hell that night. And then now, 2 years later, a similar night comes along & with, it a taste of that same pitch black hellish hopelessness. A damn take your breath away crisp, beautiful night like this. I miss you in every moment, but these ones cut deeper than the others. I loved you then, I love you now, I’ll love you till the day I join you my sweet goose.
Christmas decorating too early per usual 🤍
You used to roll your eyes every time I started getting ready for Christmas in August. So this year I waited as long as I possibly could bear before bringing you some Christmas cheer. Although I’ll bet Christmas in heaven is beyond my wildest imagination. You’re literally partying with the birthday boy himself. 🤯 I love you goose, Merry Christmas from us down here, we can’t wait to celebrate with you again one day. 🎄✨💖 Also you would be very jealous to know that there’s like 3 new monster flavours you’ve never tried. This one tastes exactly like fuzzy peaches. You would looooove it. I drink e dranks in your memory daily. Today while I visited your resting place, I also listened to the new Vance Joy single, it’s not his best work but he is just as bumpin as you remember him to be. A little life update is that I went to the Phil wickham concert with Kaylee recently. You would be jealous of that too, but I’m sure you guys heard the worship up there that night. It was like being in the very presence of heaven. Judah is in pre school at unity and he loves it there. He sleeps with a stuffy version of you, you would probably think it’s creepy lol. We miss you every single day and pray every night that Judah won’t go a day in his life without knowing how much you love him. Your life and love lives on so much deeper than you could’ve imagined. People always contact me to tell me how much they miss you & your goofy sense of humour. You are the best. Booboo and I love you forever.
A place that Aaron would have loved
We remember you fondly and think about you often.
Missing you
