Erica Aybar-Morillo, age 29, of Sicklerville, NJ, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, October 7, 2018. She was the daughter of Carmen Morillo, the sister of Jisselle and Casey, aunt of Milan and her beloved dog Carter. Erica was born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, where she enjoyed playing outside and fearlessly climbing trees. In 1996, when Erica was just 6 years old, she and her family moved to the U.S. She served her new country honorably in the U.S. Air Force and then went on to serve as a police officer, first in Atlantic County Sheriffs Department, and then in Mt. Laurel Township for the last five years of her life.
Erica enjoyed reading, camping, traveling with friends, and was the family Lego expert. She also enjoyed watching Doctor Who, Star Wars, Harry Potter, and hanging out at local pubs with friends. Above all else, she cherished the time spent with her family and friends. Erica’s beautiful, infectious smile will be missed by those she left behind.
