Adrianna Duffy was a Concord Academy alum, class of 2009, who went on to further her education at TrinityCollege. As a high school student Adrianna was the head of Umoja, an African-American affinity group. She was a diligent lacrosse and field hockey player, voted captain of the lacrosse team by her peers. She was a volunteer for Habit for Humanity, went to Mississippi to help rebuild homes affected by Hurricane Katrina.
Adrianna was always an active and energetic member of her community, where ever she went. Her ability to
become a part of many diverse communities is astounding, the Boys & Girls Club, Metro Lacrosse, A Better Chance and Concord Academy to name a few. Throughout Adrianna’s school career she has always been highly-motivated and expressive of her passion for education and equality. Her determination to achieve a better education and compassion to give back by teaching younger kids of Metro Lacrosse the skills and love for lacrosse is truly to be admired.
Adrianna’s intelligence, humor, loving personality and flair for fashion made her not only the life of the party but also one to leave you with food for thought. She was a trendsetter, a go-getter and an angel to us all. Her legacy of perseverance despite many life challenges and her energy in life is a legacy to be passed down to all.
