Dear Brother

As far as big brothers go…I was blessed with the best. Dale made me strong and resilient by endlessly picking on me and teasing me growing up. But always always always showed up when I needed him the most. He was very protective of his little sister and would do anything to make me laugh. Dale lit up rooms, people gravitated to him with his warm personality and goofy fun side. He secretly loved to write songs and poetry and had a sensitive side too. He had so many friends and was the life of the party. He was more than a brother, he was genuinely one of my best friends. We both loved music. He brought me to my first concert as a kid and we attended many concerts together. He was a hardworking, honest, down-to-earth man who was obsessed with his hair being perfect. His passing created a huge whole in so many hearts. He is truly missed every day.
