The clock if life is wound but once, and no man has the power to tell just when the hands will stop, at late or early hour. Now is the only time we own; love life, toil with a will. Do not wait until tomorrow, for the clock may then be still.
Life story

With deep love and heavy hearts, we share the passing of Mark Joseph Azar, who left this world peacefully in his sleep on November 10, 2025. Born on May 20, 1960, in Columbus, Ohio, Mark lived a life as big, bold, and unforgettable as the man himself.

From his early days selling candy to classmates, Mark showed a natural gift for connecting with people. He could spark a conversation with anyone, brighten a day without trying, and turn strangers into instant friends. His presence was warm, open, and full of life.

Mark’s heart was his greatest strength. He loved deeply, hugged fiercely, and brought comfort and laughter wherever he went. Whether you knew him for years or met him once, he had a way of leaving you with a smile.

He lived freely and fearlessly, embracing each day with humor, mischief, and joy. His spirit was wild, loving, loud, and full of good intentions creating memories that will be shared for generations.

To his children Mark, Michael, Jake, Philip, and Miranda he was Dad: a larger-than-life source of support, pride, and endless love. To his grandchildren Alexys, Lynkinn, Blayden, Jake, and Easton he was “Pappa,” their hero, their soft place to land, and the one who happily spoiled them.

He also leaves behind family he loved deeply his sisters, brother, cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family each holding a special place in his heart. Family meant everything to Mark, and he made sure they always knew they were loved.

Mark’s favorite song was “We Are Family,” a perfect reflection of who he was and how he lived wanting everyone close, connected, and cared for. And like his favorite color, yellow, he brought brightness, warmth, and light wherever he went.

His legacy lives on in the laughter he inspired, the stories he leaves behind, and the love he poured into everyone fortunate enough to know him.

He will be loved forever, remembered always, and missed beyond measure.
