Ross D Barnes, 72, passed away surrounded by family on January 9, 2023 following complications due to chemotherapy.
Ross was born on May 14, 1950 to Marilyn Barbara Jensen and Ralph Darrell Barnes. He married Becki (Rebecca) Nielsen/Christensen on December 27, 1969 in Elwood, Utah. Together they raised three strong, independent daughters: Melissa, Emily and Jennifer.

Ross enjoyed working outside and especially loved mowing his lawn. He liked fixing, building things, and figuring out how stuff works. One of Ross’ favorite pastimes was going for a drive. He never liked to take the same route twice though. You always had to take a different road back home, and often it was the roads less traveled. He also loved spending time with his two little dogs, Bella and Jaxon, who miss him tremendously.
Ross is survived by his three daughters: Melissa (Richard) Hess, Emily (Chris) Glass and Jennifer (Dennis) Bollschweiler. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Tiffany (Robin) Finch, Kyle (Ashley) Hess, Karlee (Rob) Higashi, Kellen Hess, Krystal Glass and Justice Glass. He leaves behind seven beautiful great granddaughters: Brooklyn, Addi, Taylinn, Hayden, Blake, Parker and Harper. Ross is also survived by his sister Susan (Neal) Johnson. He will also be missed by many friends, neighbors, and extended family members.
