Life story

Dorothy Faye Pitts was Our Mom, Our Granny, Our Sister, Aunt, and the Matriarch of our family. She was the widow of Lloyd Warren Pitts. Dorothy was a hard working woman that lived a simple life and loved her family and loved all things related to holidays and special occasions. She was a caretaker to many, a homemaker to her husband and kids and even her siblings when they needed her. She was crafty, a seamstress at request, was always up for a good project and always had the random things needed in her craft chest. She enjoyed shopping trips for all the above and her favorite was holiday and special occasion planning and cooking for everyone. She passed along her holiday love to her kids and grandchildren and we hope to pass these along over time. She even managed to convert her grinch of a Son in law to the lover of Christmas. She is and will always be missed and loved by us all. If you were lucky enough to know her you are blessed.
