LaToya was born in Abington, PA on January 19, 1983 to Anthony & Mary Alford. She departed this life on May 11, 2021.
"Toot" as we affectionately called her was baptized in Jesus name & filled with the gift of the Holy Ghost at a young age.
She graduated from Upper Dublin Sr. High School in June 2001. She later continued he education at the Thompson Institute, where she received her CNA licensing. She also received a cosmetology license in August 2017 from Empire Beauty School. These skill sets combined with theory, in addition to passion allowed her to exceed client's expectations. Toot's giving heart & love for others enabled her to excel in her career. She worked as a licensed caregiver & also a barber/hair stylist until the day God called her home.
Toot was very conscious of her appearance no matter what the occasion, she was always impeccably dressed. She was amazingly gifted & had many talents, music was her favorite. Toot played the drums & sang independently, as a praise & worship leader, and with many choirs. She made a significant impact on all. Those who came in contact with her were greatly inspired.
LaToya leaves to cherish her memories: father Anthony Alford, mother Mary Alford, son Liam & his mommy Danielle Davis, brother Jason Scott (Deja), two sisters LeTara Alford & Kena Smith-Scott, two nieces Jada & Denim Scott, two nephews Jason Jr (Kirb) and Jace Scott, one great niece Na'Via Scott, godmother Kimberly Worthington, godfather Harold Cambridge, two godchildren Daysia Parker & Zakiah Robinson, one best friend Yolanda Truesdale, four aunts, eight uncles & a host of cousins & friends.
