The San Bernardino Sun:
IN MEMORY OF SUMMER RAE AUSTIN 12/21/76 - 1/6/97 If tears could build a stairway, And memories were a lane, We would walk right up to heaven, And bring you back again. No farewell words were spoken, No time to say goodbye, You were gone before we knew it, And only God knows why. Our hearts still ache in sadness, And secret tears still flow, What it meant to lose you, No one can ever know. But now we know you want us, To mourn for you no more, To remember all the happy times, Life still has much in store. Since you'll never be forgotten, We pledge to you today, A hallowed place within our hearts, Is where you'll always stay. With love until we are together again. Mom, Dad, Brent and all your family.

The Press Enterprise:
SUMMER RAE AUSTIN 12/21/1976 TO 01/06/1997 We little knew that morning, that God was going to call your name. In life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone, For part of us went with you, the day God called you home. You left us peaceful memories, your love is still our guide, And though we cannot see you, you are always at our side. Our family chain is broken and nothing seems the same, But as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again. You are loved and missed every day. You will never be forgotten. All our love Mom, Dad, Brent and loving family.
