Life story

Linda was born in Jamestown NY to her parents Josephine Rizzo Grasso and Anthony Grasso. She was one of 5 sisters including her twin sister Patricia, her eldest sister Amelia(Amy), and sisters Camille and Lisa. Linda loved and cherished her nieces, Jenny, Michelle, Elisa, and Micaela and nephews, Eddie, Michael, and Nathan, other family members, as well as her mom and dad’s close and dear friends. Those close friends of her moms and dads were a big support group that loved, cherished, their good times and times with the Grasso Family. Some of those names, that I thought we should mention are the Liuzzo family, Sam and Edda, Mary, Sally and Sammy Jr. The Calimeri family, the Miele family just to mention a few. Linda was well known by so many people due to her many years employed by Kay Jewelers in the Chautauqua Mall. Linda worked for Kay’s from the young age of and 16 for many years and up until 2010 when she retired due to ill health. Linda excelled in her position as one of the top salespeople in her store and was also in charge of the stores jewelry repair department as well as the stores loss prevention program. Linda was very well known and respected and loved by the majority of Kay’s customers. Linda attended Jamestown High School and graduated in 1987. She enjoyed time during her high school days with many dear and close friends, including Christine Mckotch Peterson, Sandra Nickerson Town, Kelly Glatz Graham, Sheryl Triglia, Patti Johnson Rizzo, and many more not mentioned. These were true friends and stayed true friends throughout their lives by having get togethers to reminisce and or celebrate each others lives, children, and accomplishments with each other.

Linda met Michael Moran in 1991 and it was love at first site for both. Linda and Mike became very close immediately and Linda took, Mike’s daughters Jennifer and Morgan under her wings when they were very young girls that needed some guidance by more than just their father. Linda was the stable influence in their lives as their father Mike and their mother Cathy worked through their separation and differences. Linda and Mike got married June 10th, 1994. In First Baptist Church 37 West Falconer St. Falconer. Linda and I lived in Falconer at 2610 South Work St. in Falconer until moving to Jamestown in 1997. Linda was very close to her in-laws Jan And Ed (Sonny) Moran and became very close and dear to the entire Moran Family. Jennifer and Morgan Moran were the light of Linda’s lives and spoiled them terribly. Jen and Morgan please share some of of your experiences and relationship highlights with everyone.
