Joseph Austin Luchuk

Joseph Austin Luchuk is our deeply beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, uncle, band mate and friend. Joseph is a graduate of The Morgan School in Clinton, CT. Growing up, Joseph’s musical abilities often superseded that of peers. As a member of drama and band, he grew his talent and ultimately became lead vocalist, lyricist, bassist, and founding member of the band Shed Life. Joseph’s unmatched musical and artistic talent still touch us today, in the form of his many originally composed Shed Life songs and his abstract paintings. Joseph is remembered for his dark and witty humor, his unique sense of style, his impeccable taste in music, his culinary expertise, his handsome face, long hugs, his obsession with the color red, and his giant, loving heart.

We think of you every single day, Joseph. We know that you are here with us, watching over us, laughing with us, crying with us, and shining your gorgeous smile at us. We see you in the trees, in the moon, the stars, the sand, we feel you in every gentle breeze and deeply within our hearts. We love you so very much—always. 🖤
