Seth Gabriel Conner
Thank you for your service
Seth served in the armed forces. We honor that service here.
A native of Lake Village, IN, he served in the U.S. Navy and was a Mechanical/Specialist Supervisor for Chevron Oil Company. Seth was a very active member of New Palestine Baptist Church. He enjoyed working out and coaching Carson and Carson's many friends in the weight room. Seth always began workouts with scriptures and devotionals. He lived his life for Jesus and witnessing to others. Seth loved volunteering weekly spreading God's word to the men through prison ministry. He loved traveling, vacations with his family, seeing the world and God's creation riding on his Harley. Seth was a friend to many and a father figure to most, speaking life to every child he met, and will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Marleigh Kae Mitchell; and fathers in law, Jerry Wayne Farmer and Lloyd McGregor.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving and devoted wife, Julie Annette Farmer Conner; his loving and devoted children, Kaden Ladner, Kaitlin (Chad) Mitchell, Carson Conner, Rowan Claire Craft, and Sunni Farmer; his grandson, Daxton Mitchell; his parents, Steven M. (Colleen) Conner and Shirley Jean Backus; brothers, Josh (Amy) Conner and Ezra Conner; his loving and devoted mother in law, Marsha Beth McGregor; brothers in law, Jeremy (Jill) Farmer and John (Liz) Farmer; his close "son", Trevion Dorsett; numerous nieces and nephews; and several children who he took in as his own.
