Alex Martinez, 37, of Odessa, TX passed away unexpectedly on January 31st, 2022 outside of Kermit, TX and took a big piece of all of our hearts with him that day.
Alex or Jr, was born on July 23, 1984 to Alex Martinez and Luz Divina Soto in Lubbock, Texas.

He is survived by his parents, Luz Divina Soto and Alex Martinez Jr.; four sisters, Laura Lopez (Aurelio), Crystal Acevedo, Deborah Martinez, and Frances Martinez; his nieces; Monique Pando, niece Bridgett Pando, nephew Aiden Lopez, niece Amariss Lopez, nephew Dylan, niece Julia , niece Destanie and great niece Aurora Martinez.

He was the very best friend anyone could hope for.
He would answer your call at any hour of night, drive across the country for a friend in need and give you the very shirt of his back. He was the definition of best friend. He adored his nieces and nephews. Those were his kiddos & his world.🫶🏼
Raul, Ryan & Mickey also were his boys and held a very big place in his heart🫶🏼
He was the best son and brother we could have ever asked for and has left a void in our hearts till we see him again.
