Beloved Mother, Wife, Daughter, & Sister.
Amy was born in Hornell, NY in May, 1975 to parents Stephen and Julie Shepard. She has an older brother David, and younger siblings Cara, Joey, and Jesse.
Amy came to Buffalo where she attended The University of Buffalo.
Amy met her husband, Harvey, in 1999 and was married in May of 2001.
Amy & Harvey have 6 children, Kayla, Matthew, Emily, Evan, Brandon, and Gabrielle ( Gabby).
Amy went on to become a Buffalo police officer, rising to the rank of Detective Sergeant in the Homicide Squad.
Amy passed in her sleep, September 9th, 2021.
She is greatly missed.
