Joshuah Daniel Neubauer
Our lives are better left to chance, I could have missed the pain, But I'd have had to miss the dance....
On October 13th, 2000 Dan and Angie Neubauer became the proud parents of Joshuah Daniel Neubauer. He was born at 4:59pm and weighed 7lbs 2.5 oz. and was 20 ½ in. long. They spent the next 8 weeks loving on their sweet new baby, what a joy becoming a parent was. On December 8th, 2000 their world was turned upside down. Joshuah unexpectedly passed away from SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome/often called SUIDS now) and their lives would never be the same.
In the years following Joshuah's death, Angie & Dan have remained steadfast in their commitment to honoring their son's life. They have spent the last 15 years raising money in their son's honor, the proceeds from these efforts goes to IRIS (Infants Remembered in Silence), local high school scholarships & to our local public school where Joshuah would have graduated from. The proceeds to our school district helps fill the gap for families for so many extras -- field trips, roller skate fees, etc.
Joshuah became a big brother to Alexis (June 2002), Emma (September 2003), Jacob (November 2007).
