Ciarra Lynn Kuhr
"There is no footprint too small to leave an imprint on this world"
Ciarra was 18 years young when she left this world and what a light she was.
She graduated high school early and went to college to become an EMT. She wanted to help people and make a difference in peoples lives. She had just finished her certification and planned on working as a medic for a ski resort as she continued schooling to eventually work on life flight. Ciarra chose to be a donor and with that continued to help people after she left this world. She helped 2 people see again and we think that is such a beautiful thing. Ciarra was the person making sure everyone felt included and important in some way.
Her life was cut short but that girl lived life to the fullest. She did more in her 18 years than most in their 50s and 60s can say they did. She loved to travel and try new things. She loved food, she was a big foodie and always tried something at least once. She never wasted a second. She had so much energy and was always up for an adventure no mater how big or small. She was always the first one in the truck ready to go.
At the age of 4 we took her to see the ocean for the first time. That became her first of many passions. I remember her twirling in the waves, wide eyed and so blissfully happy. She had a sparkle in her eye that day that came back every time we went to the ocean. She always wanted to move to a bay city and I don't doubt should would have made it to one, one day.
Her next found passion was gymnastics. She went to classes for years and was always flipping upside down. She later joined her high school cheer squad her freshman year of high school. She was naturally good at it and had amazing body control.
She was naturally good at a lot of things and picked up on anything she tried very quickly. She loved the outdoors, hiking, camping, boating, anything outside she was up for it. She really loved to snowboard and even became an instructor for a resort. That was her favorite job she had. She was supposed to follow the resort to New Zealand in 2024 and be an instructor there for their winter. We are glad she found a love for snowboarding because she wasn't fond of cold weather.
Ciarra loved to ride dirt bikes. She was fearless and a go-getter. She was a small girl being 5'3" and 115lbs but she still rode a Honda 450R. For those that don't know a lot about dirt bikes that is a really big bike that was bigger than she was. But she loved it and made it work. Wouldn't let anyone help her load or unload it from her truck and wouldn't let anyone help her start it. She was determined to do it herself and she did.
We spent a lot of time on our boat at the lake too. Lake Powell was one of her favorite places. She really enjoyed surfing behind the boat and tubing with her siblings.
Ciarra has one older sister (Currstin) and two little brothers (Jaythen, Ryker). There is quite an age gap between her and her brothers and she was patient and kind to them. She was Jaythen's best friend. Even being busy with school and starting her life she always made time for him. She would call and play online video games with him every chance she got.
Even though we won't get to see her become a mom to her own children we know she would have been a great one. We saw that with how she was with her brothers.
Ciarra saw the beauty in life and always saw it as an adventure. She loved unapologetically, lived fearlessly and truly loved life. She had trials just like the rest of us but she never let it slow her down. She was fun and would never shy away from being silly or laughing. She was a true light in this world that did and would have continued to burn bright.
