Jeffery “Jeff” Wayne Lewis, age 33, of Lake Station, IN, passed away peacefully at home in his sleep Tuesday April 20, 2021. He is survived by his wife Natasha Lewis; children Landon Lewis and Stella Lewis; his parents Michael Lewis Sr. and Donna Lewis; siblings Michael (Nicole) Lewis Jr., Connie Lewis; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Willa Jean Lewis, Troy Lewis, and Eunice Florine Elder; his uncles James Lewis, Darryl Lewis, Ron Elder, and Charles Elder; his aunt Tammy Lewis; his cousin Curtis Milam and several others.
Jeff was a loving husband, father, son, brother, cousin, and friend. He loved to fish and hunt and above all else, spend time with his family. He had the biggest heart, was selfless, and poured all his heart and soul into being there for his friends and family. His ethics and bond to the people he cared about was incomparable. If you knew Jeff, you loved Jeff. Unfortunately for us left behind, the Lord has called him home and he is resting blissfully in Heaven.
We are respecting Jeff’s wishes and there will be a private funeral for the family only.

I’m in town for a short visit, and I obviously cannot leave without stopping to see you and grandma. I love you and I miss you so very much you guys leaving left a Home that will probably never be filled, but I think you guys every day for watching over us and keeping us safe and guiding us through this crazy life. We miss you guys more than you’ll ever know you will never be forgotten, and you’ll quite often be remembered ❤️ And even though our time was cut short, at least on my end, I feel like I can’t thank you guys enough for the amazing times you did give me and how much of a role you played in my life. I love & miss you guys sm. Keep watching over me and Jaxtons and giving us signs ❤️
I went and visited you on your 3 year I’m a couple day behind but I love and miss you so very much still doesn’t seem real that my uncle Jeff’s not here.. but I put a little spinning wheel thing and some beautiful yellow flowers. Keep looking out for our woman(my grandma) up there. Till we meet again I love you forever❤️

Hey baby! I came to visit you today and switched out the fall flowers for some Christmas ones. Still doesn't feel right that your no longer here with us. Kids are doing great and we have had some great blessings happen to us this year. We love you and we miss you! Always and forever ❤️
