Moses Wells

Moses Wells was born on June 13, 1931, in Crossville, Cumberland County, Tennessee to Noah Wells and Chloe Burgess Wells.
Moses enlisted in the United States Air Force on August 30, 1951, and he served until he was honorably discharged on July 20, 1955. Except for his time in the military, he lived his entire life in the Cumberland County, TN area.
On November 7, 1955, Moses married Ruby Kerley, from the Linary community. They had three children: Randall Keith Wells born on November 8, 1956, Danny Joe Wells born on August 26, 1959, and Gary Lee Wells born on October 23, 1963.
As an occupation Moses worked in the printing industry and electrical appliance repair.
His interests included family, photography, electronics, reading and gardening. Moses enjoyed smiling, laughing and whistling.
Moses was a Gospel preacher and preached for many congregations of the Church of Christ in the Cumberland County area. He was also the author of a small book titled "The Sacred Images In Man" based on Genesis 1:26 & 27.
The life of Moses Wells was cut short by a traffic accident one day after his 46th birthday on June 14, 1977.
