

Norris & Janice Northrup
Our hearts are broken, we have lost a remarkable wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and aunt. Janice LaRue Haskell Northrup, 75, passed away at home on Sunday April 21, 2013. Born to Darwin Leone & Nora Mercedes Schwartz in Payson, Utah on August 4, 1937. She graduated from Payson High School. She married her sweetheart, Norris Neil Northrup of Kamas. They were sealed for Time and All Eternity in the Salt Lake Temple on June 1, 1955.
She loved her flowers, her birds, crafting and traveling. She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served in many callings. She loved the Gospel and lived it in her everyday life to the fullest. What we have lost, Heaven has gained.
Norris, 79 passed away peacefully at his home in Herriman Sept. 10, 2014. Norris was born July 30, 1935 in Kamas, UT to Eunice McNeil and Danial Norris Northrup. He married his sweetheart Janice LaRue Haskell June 1, 1955 in the Salt Lake Temple for Time and all Eternity, she preceded him in death. He was a hard worker and entrepreneur in many things, including owning his own Archery shop, and Northrup Log Homes. His true love was splitting firewood and building log homes. He was always happiest with a chainsaw in his hands.
They are survived by their children Rick (Leslie), Danial (Brenda), Kevin (LeeAnn), Sandy (Michael) and Melanie (Jeff), 14 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
