Life story

Nancy May Barnes Proctor loved taking care of people. She made sure no one ever left her home with an empty belly. Spaghetti was her favorite. She enjoyed sewing and crocheting doll dresses and blankets for the family. she often had many projects going at the same time. She loved having her family over for BBQ's in the summer that often led to food fights, and cookie making in the winter she made platters for all her friends and neighbors. Spoiling her grandkids seemed to become her main hobby later in life. Anything she could do with or give to them brought her the most Joy. her favorite tv show was Perry Mason she would watch it all hours of the night. She was a night owl for sure. She enjoyed genealogy work, collecting coins and spoons when she traveled. She took great pride in her collections. Nancy liked working in her flower garden she had a green thumb. She liked growing many colors and roses her yard was full of her favorite flowers. She had a beautiful peach tree they were her favorite fruit. Nancy loved to travel. Norris and Her would often load up the vehicle and hit the road for a week with no destination in mind. She had been to almost all the Untied States. She was happy To go to Wendover for a few days at a time and sit and gamble the day away almost always coming out ahead. She was always looking for the next prank to play on her family. It was pretty rare to ever get one over on her. Christmas was Nancy's time to shine. She loved the snow and would often where shorts and a thin pink jacket all winter long. Nancy had a giving spirt if people where in need she always did her best to help when she could.

Nancy was always willing to lend a helping hand and was one of the hardest working women I have ever known. Family meant everything to Nancy.
