Evan Dow Reynolds, 31, of Princeton IN. and formally of Dugger, IN passed away on Friday, July 5, 2019. He was born November 16, 1987 in Sullivan, IN to Raymond M. (Sonny) and Rondi D. (Goodin) Reynolds. He attended Sullivan and Dugger schools and graduated from Union High School in 2006 where he was a member of the golf and football teams. He attended Ivy Tech Community College where he graduated with a degree in welding.
He was a proud sixth generation coal miner, working locally, in Australia, and most recently Gibson County. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and attended Whosoever Will Church. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and was an avid outdoorsman. He loved to travel after his experiences he had living and working in Australia, and had intentions of returning. He was learning to speak Japanese for a future trip to Japan and was planning a family trip to Ireland. He loved being with his family and friends. He always was a helping hand to others and was never seen without a smile on his face.
He is survived by his parents Raymond (Sonny) and Rondi Reynolds both of Dugger, IN, his two sons, Tristan and Briar Reynolds, a brother Ryan, a sister Madison, his grandfather Dennis Miller of Sullivan, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Raymond H. and Esse (Quillen) Reynolds, Sandra Kay (Green) Miller and Ronald L. Goodin.
He was loved by all and will be greatly missed. He is in the embrace of our Lord and Savior. Save a place my sweet baby boy.
Welcome to Evan's Turning Hearts page. I know for a lot of us, all the time we had will never be enough and he is ever constantly in our hearts and minds, and so I put together this page as a gift to his family and a way to remember him with others. So on this page are some videos and photos, and a spot here to leave a memory or kind thought that you want to share. Also, while I tried to pick a variety of photos to display, not all of them show up on the tab, so I encourage you, please when you share with others, consider attaching a picture that you'd want to get across most!
Rest in Peace Ev, I miss you.
I only met Evan a few times, but I know how deeply loved he was by the stories and pictures shared. He loved others just the same especially his family. One thing I noticed about him was his smile that could light up a room but seemed mischievous at the same time. Lives were forever changed by his life and the loss of him.
