Life story

Tynilah Shatarah "Minnie Me" Butler was called home in the early hours of Monday. December 5, 2022.

Tynilah Butler daughter of Hanifa Cotle. Corrie Butler and Douglas "Her Guy" Morrison. was born on September 4 1999 in Orange. NJ. Tynilah lived a large portion of her life in East Orange. NJ. and graduated from James Caldwell H.S. in 2018. She was surrounded by the love of family and friends.

She was a warrior. an inspiration and truly a beautiful human being. Tynilah would love to be remembered with funny or silly stories that celebrate what was good and blessed her life. She was filled with warmth, charm. humor. grace and talent.

Her creativity allowed her to take interest in hobbies she could express herself with such as photography. Photography for Tynilah had nothing to do with the camera. For her it was a way of feeling. of touching. of loving. With a camera in her hand she had no fear She loved deeply the people that were in front of her lens. As well as photography. Tynilah was healed by music. And there was nothing like music to relieve her soul and uplift her:

In her spare time, she loved to craft. Nothing compared to something made with her hands and her heart. Crafting helped her maintain a positive mind. Tynilahs favorite animal was an elephant. If you knew her: you could tell why because her heart was a big as one. Like her. elephants are strong and nurturing. They are loyal to their family and are determined and protective. Which can only describe how she felt about her mother. Together they built a life they loved. Her mother was the one person on earth who was always able to understand her: They were each other's guide. confidant and friend for life.

Her Paternal grandfathers. Vernon McCullough and Curtis Butler: predeceased her in death. She is also predeceased in death by her uncle Raheem Cottle. her cousin Leana Cottle and her best friend Nahjaron Brown.

Tvnilah valued her loved ones above all. which is enough to prove of how much of a light she was to this world. She leaves behind her cherished memories to her sister Cori Butler: her grandparents Carolyn Cottle. Leroy Germany. Yolanda McCullough. her godmother Claudette Roberts and godbrothers Keith and Robert. As well as, aunts and uncles Hassan. Hakim. Mylee, Leroy. Latifah.Rassan. Rykeem. Jamylee. Shaniece. Anizah. Curtis. Shaquan, her special friend Terry and a host of cousins. dear relatives and friends. Devoted. loving. kind and a caring person is how she will always be remembered to those who knew her:
