Evelyn Lawrence Eure

Born in Gates County, N.C., Evelyn Lawrence Eure was a retired nurses aide from Roanoke Chowan Hospital and a member of Creech Memorial Baptist Church in Ahoskie.

Evelyn loved her family including husband, Darden C. Eure; three daughters, Erlene Joyner of Aulander, Vicki Sharp of Burlington and Brenda Overton of Ahoskie; three sons, Raymond Felton, Bobby Askew and William Askew, all of Ahoskie; three sisters, Frances Asche of Colerain, Mattie Lea Boyce of Tyner and Nancy Brown of Gates-ville; three brothers, L.B. Lawrence Jr. of Suffolk, Bill Lawrence of Gatesville and Tom Lawrence of Laexa, Va. This also included many grandchildren and great children.
