Brett Layne Bares
“When I’m gone put it in stone…He left nothing behind…I’m not here for a long time. I’m here for a good time.” -George Strait
Brett Layne Bares was raised and lived his whole life in Carlyss, America. He was known by many as the “cable guy” for his 47 years of service at Cameron Communications. He was an avid fisherman who loved everyone he met. He had a true gift for hospitality and made everyone feel welcome and loved. Brett was the life of the party and loved to listen to music and dance in his barn. He is remembered for his red boots, red barn, red trucks, red boat, but most of all, for his heart of gold. His wife of 44 years, Susie, and his daughters Brandi and Amber, and his grandkids and son-in-laws will carry on his memory.
