Delores Mary Carpenter

Delores was the wife of forty-eight years to the late Danny Carpenter Sr. Delores was born in Somerset, the daughter of the late Louis P. and Eileen (Costa) Charves. Mrs. Carpenter worked for Raytheon at different offices for fifty years, retiring in 2009. Delores was a communicant at Saint Nicholas of Myra Church in North Dighton and also taughtCCD at the former Saint Peters Church. She was the past president of the Dighton Little League for several years. Mrs. Carpenter cherished the time she spent with her family. Survivors are a daughter: Delores M. Nunes and her husband George of Dighton; four sons: Danny Carpenter Jr. and his wife Carolyn of Dighton; Darryl Carpenter and his wife Cheri of Henderson, NV; Derek Carpenter and his wife Michelle of Dighton; Drew Carpenter and his wife Colleen of Dighton thirteen grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; three sisters: Eileen Carpenter of Swansea; Theresa Sawyer of Townsend and Patricia Nannery of Marlboro; along with many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Cecila Charves, Louis, Lawrence, Ronald, George and Joseph Charves and Hilda Springer.
