"If you always give to people, it will come back to you." - Juan Torres
Juan G. "John Boy" Torres was born September 16, 1976 to Ernesto G. and Adela G. (Tovar) Torres. He graduated in 1995 in Carlsbad, NM. John Boy worked for various construction companies and as a cement finisher early in his career. Soon after he changed careers and entered the electrical apprentice program. John Boy worked at Dixie Electric and Mosaic Potash as a surface electrician for many years. Most recently he was employed at Catalyst QLM as a commercial electrician in Nashville, TN. John Boy was one of the most giving people you could imagine meeting. God's love shined through him every day when he smiled that amazing smile of his. This man could light up a room with just his presence. This long time Dallas Cowboys fan enjoyed his football Sundays spent with his family. These days meant everything to him. He loved cooking for others. I'm sure you all have heard of Papi's Asado dish because John Boy perfected it. He loved sharing his amazing recipe with loved ones. He loved cooking mostly because that meant family time to him. John Boy also looked forward to his time outside where he could hunt, camp, fish and golf. He excelled with anything he did because he did it with passion. John Boy's heart had no limits. This man did everything giving his best from being an extremely hard-working electrician to perfecting his very own front yard. He wanted to be a good role model for his children, giving his all in everything was important to him. John Boy never met a stranger and when he left he took a piece of all our hearts.
