Life story

Lover of cars, computers, video games, and his family, Aaron touched the lives of all those around him. He was larger than life, standing at a measly 6’9”. Despite his intimidating look, Aaron was the kindest, wisest, and most caring husband, father, and friend. He is survived by his two daughters, Autumn and Kaylee, who continue to cherish his memory as the years pass.

4 Years

I can’t believe it’s been 4 years. I’m at a point in my life that I realize you probably never imagined seeing me at. I got that full ride scholarship, I got into Berklee College of Music, and I live in Boston now. I’m pursuing my dreams and trying to use them to show the world just how much you meant to me. I wish I could ask you for advice everyday, but I know you’d be proud of me for taking the chance. I’ve met some incredible people, and I get sad at the thought that they won’t ever know you like I do. It’s been really hard leaving everything behind, especially thinking of going somewhere where you will never be, but I’m trying my best to keep being your happy and positive girl. I love you daddy, I always will, and I hope that you’d be proud of me and all that I’m doing. Not a day goes by that I don’t think of you. 💜

4 years

It’s been four years now, Daddy. It gets easier with time, but I still go through so much that I wish I could talk to you about. Im about to do my junior recital at school, still playing tuba but also writing music now. And Kaylee is killing it out in Boston. We both miss you so much. I love you💙

Happy Father’s Day

I just had to come by today to let you know that I was thinking about you and all of the wonderful things you did for me and our girls. I was blessed to have you in my life for as long as I did. Today I stopped by your grave to drop off your 4th of July flag and to wish you a Happy Father’s Day. I love and miss you always.

Always in my heart

I know that I don’t come often to visit you anymore, so I was pleasantly surprised when I found a link to this site on your headstone today. I wanted to come by to tell you about everything the girls and I have done recently. I know you are not really here, but it makes me feel closer to you somehow. Kaylee and I got to graduate from college together and we just watched her graduate High school last Thursday. She’s also been awarded the Gates Scholarship which I’m sure you had a hand in helping her get. Autumn just moved home last week and let me know that she’s planning to graduate from college a year early. She has also been working hard to get your Beretta to where she knows you would have wanted it. You would be so very proud of both of them. I know I am. It’s hard to believe that you have been gone for over 3 years now… I still think of you and miss you often, despite the fact that I have found an amazing man to move forward with. I like to think that you and his late wife Peggy might be friends and had a hand in us finding each other. While my life may not have taken the path that I expected it to, I know that you would be proud of all of us and that you are watching over us every day and helping us find our paths when you can. I love and miss you always ❤️

3 year anniversary

It’s been 3 years now dad. After spending the day with autumn and then coming up to see you, I found out I’m a finalist for a full ride scholarship. You always told us that we shouldn’t go to college unless we could pay for it but now I might not have to worry about that at all. I can’t help but thinking you had something to do with it. This morning, I was looking at photos and realized that I didn’t recognize you anymore. You weren’t familiar to me, and I’m sorry for that. I want to say thank you though, for all you taught me for the first 15 years of my life. Even if my brain forgets some things, I will always love you. I hope you’re proud of what I’m accomplishing, and I can’t wait to share the love you gave me with the world. Thank you, and I love you daddy 💜

3 Years

I’ve come to find that I dread this day for weeks before it even happens. But then, the day of, it’s so full of love, memories, and care. Kaylee and I spent the second year in a row together, doing things like washing our cars, getting her a laptop, making this tribute, and pottery painting. She even was just notified that she’s a finalist for a full ride scholarship. You’d be so proud of her. We love and miss you so much, Daddy. No day is the same without you💙
