love you mom
Amie was born in April, her parents adored her with all their love, they watched her in wonder as she explored the world she loved to explore with her parents, and her Memere and Pepere, aunties and uncles and her favorite cousins, the "Gauvins" Bryan, Kristin, Ashley and Shelly, Trae, Ariann, Erin , Matt, Devon, Mia, and the twins Michaela and Marsia. She was a fierce feild hockey force in HS, playing goalie, if you came near the net she let you have it ! College was next it was an amazing four years, bestie Alexis, mansions ,ocean views, walks, and yes perhaps a couple of hours in the library studying for a examine. Graduation came and the real world of more schooling and work as a paralegal, her condo with her cousin Trae, the fun they had! Her bright red Volvo racing in our drive for a visit and dinner! Shopping on a Saturday was a must with her mom was always fun, Frugal Fannies here we come. Then came Michael and the biggest wedding to celebrate, a few years later the most delightful surprise we would be grandparents MGL are the world to us, she nurtured her two oldest boys as they themselves were experiencing life's journey, lots trips to the Cape boating was a passion for all, sailing and the sea was and is so special to all, Amie loved also the Chartroom and their mudslides, school vacations in our favorite spot in Florida, oh to bake for hours in the sun, thank god for her dad's Italian ,French heritage . Our L came several years after the two oldest, the cutest little bundle of joy, a year almost to the date of his birth, the most tragic event shattered all of our lives , our baby girl was diagnosed with stage four breast cancer out of the blue . Amie fought the battle with force and determination, she fought for the three loves of her life and her parents and those she loved so deeply. She out lived the odds of only having three to six months to live, by figthing seven and a half. Her last year on this earth was a pure battle, in every aspect of her life, it certainly was unfair. We will miss her more than anything else in this world or the heaven! Mom and Dad love you Amie Marie!
