Brenda Leanne Butler

Brenda was born February 18, 1973 in Guymon, Oklahoma, the daughter of Charles William and Gaye Lynn Brown Butler.

She grew up and attended school in Hooker graduating from Hooker High School with the Class of 1991. She then attended OPSU in Goodwell, Oklahoma receiving her Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting and a minor in finance.

Brenda worked for the Oklahoma State Banking Department for two years and the Oklahoma Tax Commission for two years. She was office manager for the Hooker Medical Clinic and was a bank director for the First National Bank of Hooker.

Her main enjoyment was for her children.

She was a member of the Gospel of Grace in Hooker, was a chairman of the All School Reunion, volunteered at the school, was Sunday school and VBS teacher and was secretary for the Hooker FFA alumni.

Survivors include her son, Matthew McMichael of Hooker and his girlfriend Whitley Welch of Laverne, Oklahoma; daughter, Madison McMichael of Hooker; parents, Charles and Debbie Butler of Hooker and Gaye Lynn and Larry Balzer of Edmond, Oklahoma; grandfather, Gene Brown of Laverne, Oklahoma; brother, Shanon and Erica Butler of Hooker; five sisters, Kerri Butler Parker of Hooker, Cristin and Scott Blosser of Colorado Springs Colorado, Angela and Eric Yarbrough of Hooker, Keli and Kody Franks of Amarillo, Texas, Erin and Josh McHenry of Yukon, Oklahoma.
