3:30 AM

It’s 3:30 AM. I miss calling or texting you, I knew I could always catch you before you went to work. I knew you would always answer. Little things are on my mind; like when I was younger, I used to go in your closet and sit because it smelled like you. When did your closet stop smelling like you?

Broken

I miss you- just that plain and simple. I am doing all the things, but I don’t want to. I’m trying to be strong cause you thought I could and you believed in me. Most of the time I can manage until I’m by myself. I know you told me not to fold and to be the leader, but I don’t know. At first, I felt like you were on a motorcycle trip and would be back, but I’m still waiting. I try to share all the stories and all the memories, but what if it’s not enough? What if no one remembers that it was you that hung that piece of bundy cord up in the car port? I love you and I hope I said it enough. I’ll see you soon Daddy.
