Catherine "Cathy" Lewis of Apache Junction, AZ, passed away on August 16, 2024. Cathy will always be remembered for her amazing resilience and happiness. Catherine is survived by her son Jesse and his fiancé Alex, her daughter Ronnie and her husband Chance, her sister Patty and her husband John, her brother EJ and his wife Sally, and her grandchildren: Jesse Jr, Madilyn, Mikelle, Dean, Mandy, Lucas and Charlie.
Catherine Lewis was born and raised in Arizona (1958) and graduated from Mesa High School (1976). She was in a motorcycle accident in 1983 that left her paralyzed on the right leg from the ankle down, but that did not stop Cathy from living life. Cathy met a man named Michael and they were married in 1985. They had their first child in 1987, a son named Jesse. Their second child was born in 1988, a daughter named Ronnie.
Cathy raised her family in Arizona, and found love after her divorce to a man named Mark in 2007. Mark and Cathy would camp, hunt, boat, and watch Nascar. After Mark's passing in 2019, Cathy would go on to spend the next five years getting to enjoy her children and grandchildren.
If there was anything that Cathy has taught people over the years is that nothing is impossible and to live life to the fullest. Cathy battled cancer three different times, lung disease, and heart disease. She will truly be missed on this Earth, but her memory will live on forever and not fade.
