Cheyenne Angelina Salgado

Cheyenne Angelina Salgado was born April 26, 1991 to her parents Richard Salgado Jr and Tracy Ramirez. She was born at Hemet Valley Medical center in Hemet, Ca. She was a proud descendent of the Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians/ Kauisik Clan. She graduated from Noli Indian School on the Soboba Indian Reservation in 2009. She was voted homecoming princess by her peers her senior year of high school. Cheyenne attended Kaplan College and graduated as a medical assistant. For a short time she worked at Desert View Recovery as a Behavioral Health Technician in Rancho Mirage, Ca. Cheyenne loved her family so much she dedicated and devoted her whole life to them. Cheyenne had several nieces and nephews who lovingly called her, “Auntie Cheyenne”. She was a very giving person with a huge heart. She had many friends throughout her life and was loved by so many. Cheyenne will truly be missed by all that knew her, as she touched the lives of many people. Her grandfather Richard Salgado Sr., grandmother Gwendolyn Saubel Salgado, grandmother Ruth Ramirez, aunt Rose Salgado and brother Daniel Salgado precedes Cheyenne in death. She is survived by her father Richard Salgado Jr and mother Tracy Briones, step-father Julian Briones, grandfather Joe Ramirez Sr., god mother Yolanda Alvarez, brothers and sisters Clarise Salgado, Jeremy Briones, Julian Briones, Juliana Briones, Jared Briones, Jimmy Briones, Iyana Briones, Tatianna Briones, Antiana Briones. Nieces Mayla Briones, Maylene Briones, Ava’vash Briones. Nephews Julian Briones Jr, Xwáyish Briones, Chá’ish Briones, Tukáamawish Briones. Aunts and uncles Dora Salgado, Maureen Salgado Hernandez, Tiffany Waite, Joe Ramirez Jr, Jack Ramirez. And numerous cahuilla/ luiseño cousins.
