It’s time for our bro to hit the heavens above, look out as thunder struck is coming to town. May you all endure our brother’s personality with his aura and infectious grin. His funniest take offs of impersonating people, his talent of singing and dancing and being a rock star up on the stage. Belting his talent of singing out loud making everyone stop and listen to him rocking on dancing and singing at the top of his voice. All the drinking sessions down in his man cave will forever be in our memories, always bringing a smirk to our faces when we hear aca-daca or the angels. Our Frankie was a mountain of strength, an absolute legend just like his music and a trooper through to the very end. Bro never wanted to leave us or die but his battle was as hard and heavy as his favorite rock bands. You fought right to your very last breath bro, not wanting to leave this place. I just hope you know you have found that place of freedom, peace, and rest as you must have been so exhausted. You should have never had to go through and suffer what you did, you never hurt any being. Why you had to go through what you did we will never have the answers to, why you had to suffer we do not know. Now you can rest up and start your new journey, we will be rocking it out with you forever, how could we not every time we listen to the radio or hear a song. There will always be some kind sort of song that will always reflect our memories with you Bro. That is what we will hold onto and treasure forever because that’s our Frankie, that’s our Bro. Rock the heavens bro, sing out loud and let all the last years that you battled reflect in your singing and strumming on that imaginary guitar. Rest now and relax our beautiful bro, sit back and enjoy a VB, have a billy and back a winner. Keep supporting the mighty Dragons, who knows they might strike it lucky again one day. We will be there barracking them on with you, calling out, go you mighty Dragons. We will forever miss you, remember you and love you so dearly. You will always walk beside us, our beloved Frankie.

It is difficult to stand here today and attempt to honor dad with words. Words seem to fall short of describing just how great a man he truly was. Craig was a loved son to Helen and Glen, a brother to Dean, Kurt, Kelly, and Jodie. A loving husband to Jenny, a proud dad to myself and my brother Joel, an adored poppy to Tyler, Harper, Ava and Sage, and a loyal friend to many. No matter how you knew dad I know he would have touched your lives in some way, and you would have many fond memories of him, majority of which I’m sure include a beer, the angels or AC/DC and him singing his heart out. Dad was always the life of the party, he loved nothing more than being around friends and family, having a drink and a laugh. Once I turned 18, dad was my best friend, my partner in crime, we bonded over our love of a drink and a good time. Every Friday afternoon was our time together. I’d pull in the driveway from work and could hear the Angels blaring from out the back shed. He’d already have a drink waiting for me down there. Mum would come home from work and come storming down the back absolutely spewing that we were at it again. We’d spend hours down there before saying okay where are we off to tonight? It was usually a walk to the pub around the corner or if mum was at work till late at the RSL we’d catch a cab there and surprise her and then hitch a ride home with her when she finished. Dad was loved even by all of my friends, they dubbed him Craigo and he would be invited to all of the BBQ’s and drink ups. What I’m getting at I guess is that dad was loved and adored by everyone who met him, and we can see that today by the outpouring of love shown from everyone here. The many years dad spent sick robbed him of a lot of the things he loved to do the most, but he kept his spark and humor right up until the very end. He was the strongest person I will ever know, and I hope we can all draw some strength from his hard long fight the last few years to get through this time without him. I know he would want us all to carry on his legacy of just loving life. To end, dad I hope wherever you are you have a beer in one hand and a microphone in the other. We love you and miss you endlessly

He is Gone You can shed tears that Craig is gone or you can smile because he has lived. You can close your eyes and pray that Craig will come back or you can open your eyes and see all the he has left. Your heart can be empty because you can’t see Craig or you can be full of the love you shared. You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday. You can remember Craig and only that he is gone or you can cherish Craig’s memory and let it live on. You can cry and close your mind, be empty and turn your back or you can do what Craig would want; smile, open your eyes, love and go on.
