Life story
Danny was a source of love, compassion and strength to his family and those who had the privilege of knowing him. Danny was a dedicated and loving father and grandfather.
He lived for his family each and every day and was a very strong individual who lived life to the fullest. Most of all, he had a never ending love for his grandchildren.
Danny was known as an upholsterer and health caregiver. After graduation, he helped his father, Patricio, with the upholstery business. Years later, he achieved master upholsterer status enabling him to take over his father’s business. Danny also worked at two separate facilities assisting special needs residents. He provided meals, transportation and day to day care of their needs.
He will be remembered most for his love for family and friends, barbequing, making tamales, bingo, telling jokes, going to comedy shows (Fluffy and more), watching sports (Dallas Cowboys, San Antonio Spurs), listening to music (Vicente Fernandez and others) and dancing. He always made time for a friend in need, something that he learned from his parents Patricio and Hortensia. He had a loving heart, always willing to help others. His absence will be greatly felt by those who loved him. His family bid farewell and look forward to meeting him in paradise.
So much has happened this year that I would have loved to share with you, like I always did. I wish I could pick up the phone and call you just to tell you about my day and how the kids are doing. I know you’re watching over us but it’s just hard knowing that it’s about to be a year that I haven’t seen or spoke to you. I miss you so much and I just wish that I could hear your voice or see you smile. the boys were talking about you last night out of nowhere. Joey was saying how much he misses his grandpa and Jesiah was sending you up some little glass hearts, and saying that he loves you and Izzy being a good big sister hugs both of her brothers and let’s them know that grandpa loves all of us. I love you so much Dad and I can’t wait till the day we meet again to where I can see you and hug you and tell you that I love you!
well just dropping by to say Hello and we really miss you. It’s still so hard to believe you are gone but I know you are in a good place. It’s Joey’s birthday today, cheers to him and as you as always yellled,”Wwwhhhaattttt! Let’s go, let’s go!!!” love you dad
Dec. 4, on this day you would have been the big 65!! It was rainy all day and gloomy, I think it was your way of saying,”hey it’s my birthday and don’t forget!” We didn’t forget we are in mourn because you are not here for us to celebrate you. Its hard and unbelievable to know you are not here but I know you are up there with Grandpa, Grandma, Joey, Momo and Popo celebrating your birthday. mmmmm.. I bet Grandma made your favorite, carrot cake. Well dad I wanna wish you a happy heavenly birthday and you are dearly missed. we love you!! cheers.
