Dave was selfless, kind-hearted, a beam of joy with lots of silliness.

Dave was selfless, kind-hearted, a beam of joy with lots of silliness. He loved babies, holding his own in his arms the longest, holding his many nieces, nephews, and friends’ babies and staring down at them with love and adoration. He loved his family wholeheartedly. – Janessa McGuire

All of your kids are incredible little humans

Dave, I think we definitely showed your kids that your crazy friends will always be there to remind them of you and that we will come together to lift them up when they need it. Within 5 minutes speaking to Jay, I could see what an awesome young man he is and could only imagine how proud you are of him. All of your kids are incredible little humans, that doesn’t come from nowhere, they are a reflection of you and Jen - Lisa Adams

Dave was a kind soul

Our son Ray has reminisced with us about all the wonderful, fun times he spent with Dave and Jay (and the whole family) from their kindergarten days on. From sleepovers to cottage trips, to online gaming. It meant a lot to him. . – Jen Selwyn- Edwards

I was a friend of Dave's

I was a friend of Dave's and worked at PVP. I moved to Ottawa from Uxbridge in 2005 to get married myself. Dave was originally going to be my best man but my Dad ended up taking the spot. Although I haven't been close with Dave over these years I've followed his growth into fatherhood and building a beautiful family. – Daniel Gray

He managed to touch my heart deeply

The small amount I knew Dave, he managed to touch my heart deeply. It sounds like he was just that kind of person- Beth Pennington
