Life story

Douglas Scott Hunt, age 34, passed away on September 24, 2023. He was born on March 31,

1989 in Mesa, Arizona where he resided the majority of his life. He graduated from Red

Mountain High School in 2007 and then served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of

Latter-Day Saints. He spent two years serving in the Korea Seoul West mission. After his

mission he had a career in the finance industry.

Doug loved being outdoors especially when on a mountain bike or dirt bike. He loved Nascar as

a kid, tinkering with cars, RC rock crawlers, and had an elaborate Hot Wheels collection.

Doug was a friend to all and touched many lives. He loved spending his days with family and

friends the most. He would light up every room he entered and had everyone smiling and

laughing in no time. He was always serving those around him and passed away doing just that.

Doug is survived by his parents John and Lisa Hunt, and siblings David (Shae) Hunt, Sarah

(Grant) Huish, and Shelby (David) Beecher. He leaves behind two nieces and four nephews

who will miss their awesome uncle.
