“"You're not average. You're not ordinary. You've been custom-made. You are one of a kind... He looks right at you and says, "There's my masterpiece. That's my son. That's my daughter. That's what brings the most joy to my heart." Joel Osteen
Life story
Everett Eugene Wallace Jr. was born on September 17th, 1944 in Matewan, West Virgina to the late Helen (nee Schnell) and Eugene Wallace. He has three siblings, Eleanor, Leonard, and Michael. A devoted and loving Father to Regina (Ron) Fransik and Stephen (Wavie) Wallace. He is missed beyond measure by his beloved Grandbabies; (Son's Children): Selena (Taylor), Skyler, Saraya, Stella, and (Daughter's Child): Marissa Fransik.
While he never met his beautiful Great Grandbaby Evelyn Jewel who was named after him, she has some of his distinct features and laughs as much as he did. Papa rocks his first Great Grandbaby Everly Jo (also named after him) in his heavenly arms.
We know he has her now and is making sure that together they are watching over the rest of us.
His soulmate Diana is waiting to one day be reunited with him. Until then, she has been "our" greatest blessing he has left us with.
Dad is now with his beloved furbabies: Lilly Mae, and Nellie Mae, who missed him every single day since they separated from him.
I'm sure he smiled so big when he saw his Duke, Princess, Sport, and his childhood pets greeting him at the Rainbow Bridge.
We remember him daily and keep his memory alive every day. We celebrate his Birthday, recall the beautiful moments he blessed us with, and continue to make new memories, so that one day we can ALL share them with him. Our children know of him, as will their children. He gave us enough of his love to pass along to each generation. Though he may not be here physically, he walks beside us every day and we hold him close within our hearts where time stands still, and memories do not fade, nor can they be stolen from us. We Love You Forever Papa!
I bought this medallion for Dad's headstone so we can look at photos, and videos of him while we visit his resting place. I also thought it would be a nice, private, and safe place for his loved ones to share new photos, sentiments, visits, or whatever else they'd like to share. We can send him virtual cards on holidays etc. since most are hundreds of miles away. It's a nice, safe, private, way to keep his memory alive for current and future generations to come.
Dad was a great provider and sometimes stern when raising his own children but he was always there for us when we needed him, even without having to ask. He became my ride or die, my phone a friend, my hero, my mechanic, Mr. Fixit, and later, my best friend. Most importantly, Dad was the greatest Grandfather to my daughter Marissa. Dad was always loving, had a heart of gold. He was generous to a fault, a jokester, loved to laugh, never knew a stranger, enjoyed people, loved animals, and would take a bullet protecting his family. He was my mother figure as well as my Father, serving dual roles throughout my entire life. He filled a void that he should not have had the responsibility to do. However, he did so without complaining, mostly lovingly and gracefully, and was the best parent I could have asked for.
I will always be a Daddy's Girl and I miss him immensely, beyond all words and beyond measure.
I LOVE YOU PAPA!
