Gabriel served in the armed forces. We honor that service here.
Gabe grew up in Bracken County graduating from Bracken County High School in 1991. When he was in the 8th grade, he went to Oneida Baptist Institute and stayed there until his junior year. This time spent away from home helped him to adjust to life in the military. He joined the Air Force after graduation in 1991. He served from 1991 to 2000 when he was medically discharged. He spent from retirement to 2018 in West Bend, Wisconsin. He moved back to Bracken in 2018 where he lived out the rest of his life surrounded by family and life long friends. Gabe loved to cook! He was the king of the grill, but he could also bake and make all varieties of homemade ice cream. He was just a good person and would give you the shirt off of his back if he thought you needed it. He is missed by so many.
