Life story

Jake was one of a kind. A charming, fun, loving soul who will never be forgotten. A friend to all, and always the life of the party. He loved trucks, bonfires, backroads, lake days, cookouts and of course.. karaoke. He loved working with his hands and making something out of nothing. Nothing made him happier than having all of his friends and family together and throwing something on the grill with a beer in his hand.

He was a wonderful husband, father, brother, son, uncle, friend and so much more. He was hardworking and full of life and always tried to make others happy.

Losing him has left a hole in so many people’s hearts. His daughter, Caroline, was his best friend and they enjoyed many good times together. Unfortunately, he passed before the birth of his youngest daughter, Jessie Jade.

He is severely missed by everyone that knew him. He never had an enemy, and made friends everywhere he went. He will never be forgotten.

Until we meet again on the other side..

Happy Birthday Dear, I wish you were here to celebrate with us, but we made sure to honor your day. Losing you has changed so many people’s lives, I hope that somehow you’re able to see or feel how much you are loved and missed. Not a day goes by that I don’t wish I could go back and keep you here. Caroline and Jessie are so much like you. It amazes me everyday the traits of yours that they have, Jessie especially. I think she sees you sometimes, I hope she does anyway. I love you so much, happy birthday 💙 -your woman 😉

Happy Birthday! 🥳

Hey there, Jake! I brought your namesake by to visit and tell you happy birthday! You’d be happy to know that he’s already as feisty and tough as you and Henry are.. definitely living up to the Unger name. I so wish that he could’ve met you in person ‘cause you two would’ve been two peas in a pod, just like his daddy. We love and miss you brother. Hope you had a good birthday up there in heaven and gave heaven some hell. 💙

Copenhagen

Just got done washing your truck, saw your snuff in the console. Figured I’d drop it off you. Good night bro.

Brother

If words could explain how much you mean to me and how much I miss you, I’d write them but that’s not possible, so I miss and love you brother will have to do.
