Life story

Jaxon was born to Danielle (Johnson) Westcomb and Brandon Clark on April 18, 2002. He was instantly loved unconditionally and at his birth those who love him were forever changed. As a young child he was curious, energetic, loving, incredibly smart, hilarious, and a little mischievious. Those traits remained as core to who he was his entire 21 years on this earth.

He graduted from Shoreland Lutheran High School where he made lifelong friends and enjoyed playing baseball and football for his school. He grew to love many teachers and staff there. During his senior year he enlisted in the United States Navy. He left for bootcamp on July 20, 2020 where he began his service and journey as a United States Sailor. He was proud to serve this nation along side some of the most incredible men and women who served along side him.

With the navy he finished bootcamp and went on to A and C School in Florida. He was trained and performed his duties as an IT. First serving on the USS Port Royal, completing a WestPac depolyment. After USS Port Royal was decomissioned he served on the USS William P Lawrence, he commonly referred to as "The Willy P". The Navy provided him many opportunities for travel, which he loved as he was an adventurer at heart. He loved visiting new places, learning the culture and exploring different landscapes. He loved hiking, reading, playing and listening to music, and he was a very talented writer.

The sailors aboard both ships he served on became family to him, as he spent countless hours with them. He made several friends while in the Navy, but four of his closest friends in Hawaii while he was stationed at Pearl Harbor. His childhood best friend enlisted in the United States Army and left the same time Jaxon did. They remained closer than ever even though they were living on opposite sides of the world.

Jaxon was a friend to all. He never knew a stranger and understood that everyone had a story. He has touched and impacted more lives than we ever could have imagined. He loved big. He forgave fearlessly. He lived life to the fullest. He was always exploring the meaning of life and his place in it.

Jaxon was the most incredible person, to those of us that knew and loved him, have ever known. To be loved by him was like being kissed by the sun. It was energizing and it filled areas of your heart you didn't realize were void, leaving you feeling like you were cherished. Jaxon left behind two families that will never be the same. Siblings that absolutely adored him, parents that absolutely treasured him, and extended family that absolutely prized him.
