Joseph Walter Smith
Joseph Walter Smith was born on October 5, 1983 in Muskegon, MI. Joe lived a life full of love, laughter, and dedication to his family.
Joe was a devoted husband, father, son, brother, Uncle and friend. He found his greatest joy in spending time with his family. Whether it was sharing a meal, laughing together, or simply being present for the people he loved most. Joe had a passion for the open road and could often be found riding his Harley, finding peace and freedom on two wheels. He was also an avid fisherman who loved the quiet moments by the water, rod in hand, often sharing those experiences with family and friends. He also enjoyed spending time in his garden with his daughter along with playing video games with his son.
He is survived by his loving wife, Christine Smith; his children, Travis Pilcher and Lorelai Smith ; his mother and bonus father, Patricia and Jerry Dunaway; his father, David Smith; and his sisters, Krysta Sosa, Kaidee Dunaway, and Rhinae Creel. Joe also leaves behind many nieces and nephews who adored their Uncle Joe.
Joe was preceded in death by his beloved Nana and Papaw Johnivan and Grandma and Grandpa Smith, whose memory he cherished deeply.
Those who knew Joe will remember him for his kind heart, his loyalty, and his love for family. He lived his life with authenticity and left a lasting impact on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. Joe will be forever missed, but his love and spirit will carry on in the hearts of all who knew him.
