Julio Rodriguez Jr.
Julio was born in Camaguey, Cuba in 1954 and migrated with his mother in 1960. He lived in Belle Glade, FL with his parents, and later they moved to West Palm Beach. Julio graduated from Forest Hill High School in 1973. He worked for the City of West Palm Beach in Parks & Recreation, working at the Howard Park Community Center. After 30 years he retired from the city, then started to work a few part time jobs. At first at Tuesday Morning, then became a school bus driver for a private school. In 2018 he moved to Lake Mary near Orlando to be closer to his daughter, then sadly passed nearly exactly two years later. He was a dedicated father, and an accomplished cyclist winning many races during his youth. He should be remembered for his kindness, work ethic, selflessness, silly humor, how he would laugh at himself, and commitment to his family.
