“"A life built on faith, family, and the work of his hands."
Life story
A man with a big heart and strong hands, Keith was known for his deep devotion to his family and his unwavering love for his grandchildren - who were truly his pride and joy. Keith spent his life dedicated to hard work, love, and service. He worked for many years as a skilled diesel mechanic. Even after closing the business, his hands never stopped moving - always tinkering, fixing, building, and caring for his home and yard. From flowerbeds to woodworking projects to keeping the pool just right, he found joy in the simple, steady rhythm of everyday life. A lifelong lover of cars and motorcycles, he lit up at the sound of a revving engine and could talk shop with anyone who shared his passion. But more than anything, Keith found his greatest purpose in being present for his family. Whether it was lending a helping hand, offering quiet wisdom, or simply showing up, he made sure those he loved knew how much they mattered. Keith’s life was grounded in his strong faith in God. He was a man restored - living proof of God’s grace and redemption. He attended Cursillo #427 and sat at St. Paul's table. A devoted member of St. Theresa of the Child Jesus Catholic Church, he served faithfully as an usher, greeting others with warmth and humility. His belief in second chances, quiet service, and God’s unconditional love shaped the way he lived and how he cared for those around him. He leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and quiet strength - one that will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.

I hope you had the happiest birthday in heaven today! There's peace in my heart knowing how many people you are surrounded by up there, but we miss you so so much. I miss your laugh, your crazy jokes, your Facebook messages, your tik toks, your projects, but most importantly, I miss your hugs and your voice. I would do anything for you to give me a hug and say bye one last time. I hope you had the juiciest steak and the coldest beer today. I'll love you always & forever.
Your second birthday in heaven daddy. We miss you so much!!! I watched the sunrise this morning, I wore my Dale Earnhardt shirt, i listened to Ozzy and Lynyrd Skynyrd and your music, I ate tootsie rolls! I can only imagine how beautiful it was to hear the angels sing happy birthday!! Love you daddy!!!
We are on family vacation in Broken Bow, OK. We attended a mass at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church. The mass intentions were said for Dad, and the priest made it so special for us. Mass was truly beautiful. We got back to the house and I heard a tapping sound on the window. When I went to check, it was a cardinal 😭❤️ The cardinal was flying back and forth to the window. We took that as a sign that it was Dad and he was with us. 💓 Dad is still greatly loved and immensely missed.
Dad, it’s been a year since our last day with you here. I think of that day and last hug goodbye often. You walked up to me at my car and when I turned around you startled me and we both laughed and hugged and kissed. We sat together that day talking about many things. It was a good day. We are reminded of you every where. Today we are all together at an amazing house in Oklahoma. You would be in awe of this place. I know you would be exploring all around. We miss you and love you so much
Today has been a hard day for me. It’s hard to celebrate someone when they are not physically here with us. I went visit you and Jake at the cemetery today to tell you Happy Father’s Day. I feel your presence daily, when I look at the sunsets, when I see a bird fly over me, when a butterfly is flying around, when I look at the moon, when I see your favorite candy at the store. I am reminded daily of you. When the pain of not having you here with me gets too bad I go back to the message you sent me where you said “I am very well prepared to meet the Lord you remember that when I die” I know you and Jake are walking the clouds of heaven hand in hand. Keep looking down on us until the day we reunite in Heaven. Love you so much dad! Happy Father’s Day❤️
Lanie IstreI’m so glad we all feel connected to dad and Jake in so many ways. 🫶🏻

Father's Day
Happy 1st Heavenly Father's Day! You are extremely missed around here. We each got memorial windchimes for Dad. We all just love sitting outside and in some form finding Dad, weather in the storms, cardinals visiting the yard, or beautiful sunsets, so these will help bring the sound of bells in those moments.
We love Dad and miss him dearly.
Lanie IstreSo much in this picture that dad started and you have taken on, the flowers, chicken coop, pool. We appreciate you and Josh for being right there with mom and for everything you do sis!

Father’s Day
Happy Heavenly Father’s Day, we love you! It’s been storming here the last few days and I found myself just standing outside listening and watching the lightening and thunder. One of the last messages I sent to you was a video of a pretty lightning storm. We think of you and Jake always, not only for the beautiful days but on these stormy days as well. You taught us to appreciate the stormy days too, we have each other and are blessed.
When you feel you are without me
close your eyes
sink down beneath your skin
retreat within
I am the blood that flows
I am the courage in your gut that grows
I am the chamber in your heart
that feels like home
I am the seed from which your life
was proudly grown
only my body has flown
me, I dwell still
within your bones
my voice, and all the good
I have ever known
is yours to own
when you feel you are without me
listen close
I whisper louder
when you miss me most
Daddy, I picture you and hear you everyday saying “hey baby” every time I would walk in the door. I look to the sky every day and think about you and Jake. We miss you so very much.
Daddy-O...my my my what a month it has been. I don't doubt you are smiling and saying, "Look where I am! I've made it!" With Jake by your side. God will call us one by one and our family chain will link again.
