Lois Marie Bartley
PSALMS 23 The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake. Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
Lois (Lolo) Marie Bartley, daughter of (the late) Shelton Landry Sr. & (the late) Clarice Stevens, was born in Eureka, CA April 14th, 1961. She accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior, uniting with Deliverance Temple 1918 Blake St. Berkeley, California and was baptized by Pastor Bishop Butler as a public confession of faith in Christ.
Lois was a caring and compassionate person. She would give her last to help loved ones and friends, while expecting nothing in return. She worked in the healthcare field for over 15 years as a caregiver. Assisting senior citizens and adults with disabilities. She loved the job she had and was working on furthering her education to advance in the healthcare industry.
Lois enjoyed spending quality time with her children, grandchildren, and siblings. Going to Las Vegas, Fisherman's Wharf, Texas Roadhouse, and many other places. She was very skilled in crocheting and enjoyed doing it any chance she could. She was a huge fan of Tupac and Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, she would play their songs any chance she could.
Lois sadly departed this life on November 12th, 2023; she was preceded in death by her sister: (Beloved) Joann Burks; (Beloved) mother: Clarice Broussard; (Beloved) stepfather: Linus Broussard; (Beloved) niece: Nicole Jones; and (Beloved) father: Shelton Joseph Landry Sr.
She leaves to cherish precious memories: her son: Mark Laron Bartley; her daughters: Jo'toria Clifshay Bartley, Marquette LaShay Bartley, Tishara Shawntell Lackland, and Lashara Laton Jones; her Granddaughter: Ky'Ana Nicole Jones; her Grandsons: Mark Bartley Jr. and Legacy Lackland; her brothers: Shelton Joseph Landry Jr., Cliford Calvin Landry; and God-brother: Alvin Landry; her sisters: Olivia Marie Landry, Geraldine Marie Broussard, and Janice Ann Broussard; as well as a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews.
