My beautiful blue butterfly! 🦋
To my twin, my soul sister, my mini me… life isn’t the way it is suppose to be without you here. You had your whole life to live and it was taken from you.
The guilt and the sadness are overpowering and my heart is broken. I made a promise to save you that I couldn’t keep. You looked up to me and I feel as if I let you down. So i will keep my promise, the one we made 4 nights before you left, on your hospital bed.
I will live for you and through you and make sure every time is a good time. Just the way you would make every time, a hell of a good time.
You lit up every room you walked into and your laughter and smile were contagious. Your strength and bravery, inspirational.
One of my many favorite memories is the chalet weekend for your birthday. A whole weekend without a care in the world surrounded by loved ones in the middle of nowhere, without the talk of cancer or treatments, drinks flowing, moves busted, music blasting... You were glowing. Thank you for the memories I will forever cherish.
Rest assured no one has or ever will forget you!
To my brightest diamond in the sky, keep shining bubs. I love you.
Thank you ❤️
Maria often kept her cards close to her chest but when she trusted you—she trusted fiercely. I had the privilege of experiencing brief but profound moments of her love and trust. "Can you hold my hand?" She once asked me while her brother administered a shot to her abdomen on their living room couch. "I'm going out tonight, can you help me style my hair?" She asked when her mom wasn't around and her hair had just begun to fall out. And in her last few days in the hospital, she entrusted me with documenting some of her final expressions of love to the most important people in her life. Her love was deep and playful. Her trust made you feel like you were the only person on Earth. Maria, you've changed the way I walk through the world in ways you'll never know. Thank you for trusting me.
Love you Maria ❣️
Looking back, I can't even remember a time we didn't get along. No matter what the situation, you always wanted to make sure everyone had a great time. I remember one time when we to the Joker bar in Longueuil, we were playing Jungle Speed and you almost took my arm off 😂. I dont remember the last time I've had that much fun...
I've never felt judged around you, only good vibes all the damn time, no matter the mood.
We all miss you so much lil sis..
Til we meet again 💕
Forever remembered
I met Maria near the end of her life and sadly haven’t gotten to know her as much as I’d like. A moment that will stay with me forever was a few days before she passed, in the hospital, she asked me how my dad was, because she remembered he had just gotten open-heart surgery. I couldn’t believe, given her situation, that that was even crossing her mind. Until the very end, she was selfless, empathetic and full of love. That moment, so swift and kind, changed my life forever because without knowing, she became a forever role model to me. That moment shows who Maria really is and it’s honourable. Even though she was in my life for a short period of time, she marked me forever. Never forgotten beautiful blue butterfly 🦋
Missing you Maria❤️🦋
Miss you Mar… When you left us, you also left many of us with an empty space in our hearts which can never be replaced. The vibes are just not the same without you. No matter where you went, you always made sure to be having a good time. That contagious behaviour will be forever missed. You made people around you laugh and feel comfortable which are among the many things that made you such a special person and sister. You will never be forgotten. Thank you for all the memories that we created together. I promise to cherish them forever. I hope we’re making you proud and that you’re watching over us and keeping us safe❤️ Miss you sis

Maria MUSCARI. An inspiration of love ❤️
I miss my little rebel who was never afraid to say what was on her mind! I loved being her UBER whenever she would give me the chance to pick her and her friends at the club! So chatty and always laughing…that’s my memory of our little blue butterfly. I miss you sweetie! 🦋❤️🙁
