Your wings were ready but our hearts were not.
Mark served in the armed forces. We honor that service here.
Mark Allen Gilroy born on October 5, 1965 to Nancy MaHaney in Washington D.C.
Mark was a great husband, son, father, grandpa and friend. He was loved by all who knew him. To know him was to love him.
Mark left to honor his memory and legacy four children, 14 grandchildren, his mom, stepdad, loving and devoted wife Samantha and his BFF & brother Warren. His family in blue and his Henrico PALS family.
His passion for helping others was the reason he spent 25+ years in law enforcement.

Devoted and loving wife
I remember when we first met 19 years ago. You were so nervous about speaking to me. Our mutual friend Warren Aldredge convince you to.speak and that was the day I knew you were sent to me from God. I will cherish every memory we have ever shared together. Your love changed me but your death broke me. I will continue to love and celebrate a life well lived. Until we meet again Love, Samantha ❤️
