“"Be strong and be brave. Don't be afraid because the Lord your God is with you. He will not fail you or leave you." - Deuteronomy 31:6
Life story
Olivia was a truly beautiful soul. She lived a life marked by joy, faith, and an extraordinary love for others. To know her was to love her. Olivia was a senior at Ware County High School, where she was recently voted Most Memorable by her graduating class, an honor that perfectly reflected the lasting impact she had on everyone around her. Above all, Olivia loved deeply and lived boldly. Her faith was evident not only in her words but in her actions. She was a light in a dark world, and her impact will forever be felt by her family, friends, classmates, teammates, church family, and community. Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing that Olivia is now at peace, worshipping at the feet of Jesus. Her life leaves behind a legacy of love, joy, faith, and light that will continue to shine through all who were blessed to know her. In a dark world, be more like Olivia, and be a Ray of Sunshine to everyone around you.
You’ve been on my mind a lot this past week. So many little things keep reminding me of you. Seeing old photos and videos pop up in my memories, hearing your voice and your laughter brings a smile to my face and breaks my heart all at the same time.
I keep going back to the moments we shared, smiling at all the little, silly memories. There’s so much I would say differently now, and I’d definitely take more pictures and videos. I miss how you could turn the simplest days into something special, and how your laughter alone could make me smile before I even saw you.
I hate that it took losing you for me to fully realize just how precious you were to me and how deeply you impacted my life. I wish I had told you more while you were here, how much you meant to me, how much I loved you, and how truly grateful I was for you.
I’m so grateful for every memory, and I hold onto the comfort of knowing I’ll see you again one day. Until then, I’ll keep remembering you, loving you, and missing you every single day. 🩷
Happy 18th Birthday, Olivia! A day that should be filled with celebration, laughter, and everything you loved.
As I sit here tonight scrolling through memories, I’m reminded of just how special you were to so many people. You had a way of lighting up every room you walked into. You were the life of the party, always smiling, always talking, always bringing joy to everyone around you.
You are missed more than words can ever express. Not a day goes by that you aren’t on my mind. I would give anything to see you walk into Waxona and hear you say, “Hey Min Min,” just one more time.
I know you’re celebrating in heaven in the most beautiful way.
Happy Birthday, Sweet Girl.
Olivia,
I’m lying here tonight, wide awake because you’ve been on my heart. Your pictures have shown up in my memories so much lately, and every time they do, I stop and smile. I’ll forever cherish the silly videos and pictures I took of you. They mean more to me now than ever.
Baseball season just hasn't been the same without you. I keep glancing over, expecting to see you walking up to sit next to me. I wish we could share sunflower seeds and candy one more time. I miss our gossip sessions and our random chit-chat. I wish I could sit and talk to you one last time!
I miss you every single day. 🩷
Olivia was always a joy to hang out with. I remember me, her and gabby going on late night rides on the golf cart. How we would always be huddled up in the most atrocious mix of all our clothes just to make sure all of us were warm, how we would blast the most obscure songs as loudly as the speaker could go and how mad the French lady that was the speakers voice would get when we would run the speaker dead and still keep riding anyway.
Olivia also was my go to personal nail tech for every homecoming, especially because we always ended up getting our hair and makeup done at the same time - she taught me how to properly apply press ons and she did so in such a motherly way.
Love you always Olivia.🩷
Sweet Olivia, we were so blessed to enjoy your time with us at family events (when you were little), at the clinic, at football games, & at cheer camp. We take comfort in knowing that you’re dancing in the streets of Heaven & that it’s even more brighter now! Thank you for blessing us with your smiles, hugs, & laughter! We are forever touched by your short but large presence here! Love, The Smiths
This young lady that never met a stranger will be greatly missed by the Tyre family. From the first time we met her, we knew she was special. One of the few people I can say always brought a smile, this sweet girl always lit up the room. From birthday parties, to Chuck E. Cheese, to beach trips, to cheer….we have so many wonderful memories of her. We love this girl and this sweet family!
Oh where do I start my kids looked forward too seeing you every Friday night at the football games we loved doing competition cheer with you and you’ll be in my girls back spot and you always tell 🐸Sophia to squeeze. I’ll never forget that she looked up to you and she loved that y’all started going to church and she started seeing you more. You are a very true inspiration to her and you always be in our hearts we love you, sweet girl.
Me and olivia may not have been close in the last year or two, but I will forever be thankful for the memories we made riding the golf cart everyday after school together in 9th grade and the summer going into 9th grade. I miss the random texts from her asking to go ride the golf cart or to come over to swim. I love how she could make me laugh no matter how bad of a day I had that day, she never failed to brighten anyone’s day. I truly hated Waycross and most parts of middle school, until we became close. I think it’s because she showed me what a real friend was and because I always had fun when I was with her. Even though we slowly got distant due to having different friends and different classes, I still always considered her my best friend. I loved getting to experience high school and middle school with Olivia, and I will forever be thankful for our memories together. I have so many more memories that I could share, and I’m sure I will share them over time. And she will be my best friend forever and I will love her forever!🩷
Olivia was my first ever friend, always so kind and positive and ready to do what anybody asked of her with a smile on her face. She was so many places at once and that just explains what type of person she was, she didn't know a stranger. I will love and miss you forever Olivia!
Olivia- a light in a room of darkness- lived life with enthusiasm and grace, embracing life with joy and curiosity. Olivia’s laughter, kindness, full of energy spirit and love for God left an imprint on everyone fortunate enough to know her. She had a rare way of making people no matter who you were feel seen and valued. When Brody got to 6th grade, Olivia became one of Brody’s closest friends in FFA right up into High school. I got the joy of coaching her for several of her pageants. I’m going to miss her popping out of a crowd to give me a hug and just talk about life. Gonna miss her random text pictures of dresses for pageants asking my opinion! Her time on this earth was far too short, Olivia’s light will continues to shine through the memories she created, the love she gave, and the lives she touched. She will always be remembered for her beauty, grace (welll let’s just call her baby grace lol ) and most importantly that vibrant spirit that can never be dimmed. All this is evident by the outpouring of love and tributes to this beautiful soul! Olivia I hope your up in heaven smiling down knowing the impact you made on so many people! Always in our hearts, we will miss you sweet girl!
To know Olivia Ray was to love her. She was truly happy-go-lucky, always full of light, laughter, and love. She had a way of putting a smile on my face and on my daughter’s face every single time we were around her.
Adalynn absolutely loved Olivia with her whole heart. Olivia loved her right back—keeping my girl close, protecting her, and loving her as if she were her own. Those random phone calls just to ask where I was so she could come find us and give us hugs are moments I will forever treasure.
Her stop-bys to my room at Wacona could instantly brighten even the hardest days. Olivia had a gift—her presence alone brought comfort, joy, and warmth to everyone she touched.
She will be remembered forever, not just for her smile, but for her heart. We are so grateful for the time we had with her. We love you, Olivia Ray, always and forever. 💕🕊️
I’m so thankful to have known Olivia and to witness what a true ray of sunshine she was. Olivia was always smiling, laughing and having a good time. No matter what kind of day you were having, she was sure to make it better. Cheer practice, bus rides and football games sure were never boring if she was around. She was such a bright light in this dark world. I love you always Olivia!
Although I have no photos to share, I will always remember meeting you at Sweat Memorial when I first started dating my now husband, Joshua. I remember thinking how awkward it was being at a church with no one that I knew since I had just moved to Waycross, but you clung to me like you knew me my whole life. Your bubbly personality made me feel so loved & welcome, as if I had known you for years. Your presence was so inviting that I looked forward to going to church - Thank you for always being YOU.
Sweet Olivia. A personality that feels like a bundle of chaos wrapped in sunshine. Always greeting your people with a hug and smiling with your whole face. A laugh that makes those around you laugh. A friend to all, big or small. You love others with your actions and your words & never let anyone forget it. You are the best kind of person - the kind that makes you feel seen and valued. A lover of Jesus and a bright light for Him.
Thank you for loving me and my family. We love you so, precious girl.
Olivia, I am so thankful God allowed our paths to cross! You were such an amazing friend to Ryan, Emma, Noah. I could always count on you coming to my classroom to walk Emma and Noah to breakfast and then to their classrooms. Every afternoon was fun filled with y’all playing school, running the hallways, or playing outside. Almost all of their memories at Wacona include you. I would always giggle when you would put Emma or Noah on your hip, because they were half your size. It makes me smile even now. I enjoyed seeing you, Ryan, and Jackson build such friendships and create memories that will last a lifetime. We will always miss you, your smile, your contagious laugh, and your silly ways! We will always think of you when we see a beautiful sunrise or sunset, because you truly were a ray of sunshine to each of us! We love you, Olivia!!
My sweet Olivia. Gator baseball games will never be the same. You were always there, right in the middle. Tanner knew if he was in trouble or he wanted a later curfew that Mr. Adam could not tell you no. Most of our text messages were just that. There are very few people my Lake will leave me and go with, but she wouldn’t think twice about going with you. The front office at Wacona will never be the same without your happy self coming through that door. Most of the time we could hear you coming before you even made it to the sidewalk. You are one of a kind my sweet girl. Your life had so much purpose. I am forever grateful to you for the mark you left on my family. We will miss you forever on this side of heaven and looking forward to the day you greet us all. What a day that will be.🩷☀️
Olivia you always brightened a room when you walked in. I can hear your laughter as your joking around with your classmates. I can still remember State FFA Convention and your enthusiasm to be sur everyone had a great time. I am so honored to have had the chance to have you as a student and a true inspiration to others. From forestry events, pie eating contests and State Convention, your were always all in or nothing!! Your love for Christ was always very evident as you inspired others to follow him. I am praying foe comfort for your family, friends and our community as we mourn your loss but we know your walking the streets of heaven.
I’m beyond blessed to have had Olivia in my life. She made a huge impact for me and everyone around her. I’ll forever cherish the pageants we did, cheering together, and just being around her. Growing up with her was like having a older sister, she always had my back no matter what. I’ll never forget her contagious laugh or the way she would yell “Harp” as loud as she could even in dead silence. I will always miss Olivia’s big hugs and her even bigger personality. Love you forever Olivia.🩷
Olivia was so sweet and patient as she cared for Matthew when he broke his leg in first grade. At Wacona Elementary, she never hesitated to help him get around in his wheelchair, making sure he felt supported and included every step of the way. Her kindness seemed effortless, a natural part of who she was. Olivia had a warm, uplifting energy that spread to everyone around her, brightening days just by being present. She truly was a sweet soul whose compassion made a lasting impact.
