Her older siblings Cecil, Caswell and Carmen came to the UK between 1964 - 1967, Leaving her with Salice. Caswell sent for her to come to the UK in the early 70's. Pansy would regularly say that she felt loved, safe, happy and well cared for by Salice, who was well known in the community for looking after people's children. Salice taught her many valuable life lessons which included cooking and was like a mother to her, sfe loved and respected Salice, to the point that she named her daughter, Alison after her. Whilst at school, she met her childhood sweetheart, & father to her children, Gladstone George Harris aKa Perr, who she later married in 1976 in Jamaica. They later divorced in the 1990's. Perr sadly passed away on 7th November 2003. Pansy came to the UK in 1971 aged sixteen, to join her siblings and parents and lived in the family home at 26 Kimberley Read, in Stockwell The family then moved to Portland Road, South Norwood. Pansy and Perr lived there for a short while, before purchasing their first home together, in December 1978 She also kept in regular contact with her other cousins from the Rennie side of family, Sylvia, Shirley and Millie. She was very supportive and loving towards her family, especially her uncle Locksley, she never left him out. Pansy loved all things Jamaican and desired to have a home there so she could travel between the two countries and leave a legacy/inheritance for her children and grandchildren. She also wanted to support the community and Aeolus Valley Primary school. On coming to the UK she went to Brixton College and once finished, started working for Williams and Glyns Bank for roughly two years. On leaving she secured a job with Barclays Bank where she worked for nineteen years.

Lived 67 years
Don't cry for me Dont cry for me. I will be okay. Heaven is my home now, and this is where I’ll stay. Don't cry for me. I'm where I belong. I want you to be happy and try to stay strong. Don't cry for me. It was just my time. But I will see you someday on the other side. Don't cry for me. I'm not alone. The angels are with me to welcome me home. Don't cry for me, for i have no fear. All my pain is gone, and Jesus took my tears Don't cry for me. This is not the end. I'll be waiting here for you when we meet again. - Josiah Harris
Life story
They say there is a reason
They say time will heal;
Neither time or reason
Will change the way i feel.
Gone are the days
We used to share,
But in my heart
You are always there.
The gates of memories
Will never close;
I miss you more than
Anybody knows...
Love and miss you everyday
Till we meet again
• To Grandma
We love you always & Forever.
