Missing my big brother
What I’d give to get you back!
Randall served in the armed forces. We honor that service here.
Randall "Randy" Dale Bertram, age 74, of Marquette, Michigan, died on August 26th, 2023. He was born on October 2nd, 1948, to Dale Edward and Lenore Joyce (Lee) Bertram in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Canada.
Randy graduated from Sault High School with the class of 1966. He worked for his family at the Ripvan Motel on Portage. He joined the army after he was told there was no need for more marines. He was proud of his service to his country and was proud to follow in his grandfather's footsteps. He was a proud member and elder of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Marquette, Michigan. He worked as security for Hiawatha Music Festival. He also had a political career as he was the County Commissioner for District 4.
Randy enjoyed fishing and hunting while at camp. He was a hard worker. He learned piano from a young age and whenever there was a piano in sight you could often find him making beautiful music.
