You were our light in all the darkness 💙
Tyson Gabriel Javier Hooker-Mendoza was born at Sarah Bush Lincoln hospital in Mattoon Illinois on December 19th 2013 at 3:52pm. He was a perfectly healthy baby boy weighing 8 lbs. 3 oz. and 21 inches long. He had the most beautiful brown eyes and a head full of dark hair. He was the little puzzle piece that none of knew we needed. Gabey Baby as we called him was the best baby. He slept well he ate well, and he hardly ever fussed. As Tyson grew everyone around him, realized what an amazing person he was. What a genuinely beautiful human being he was going to be not only was he the most beautiful child but his heart and mind were beautiful as well. Also, he never let anyone feel out of place. Always stood up for the underdog. Making everyone he spoke to feel special. The best way, I could describe it is that he was a walking ray of sunshine. He just beams, happiness and joy and everyone around him. He loved to learn new things. There wasn’t a single thing that you could tell him he couldn’t do because give him a week and he’d have it figured out. He was survived by his two older brothers and two older sisters, who love and miss him dearly every day, along with his many friends and anyone who was blessed enough to encounter him. Tyson was a boy’s boy. He loved getting dirty and working hard. He loved to fish, and He loved to tinker on things. He was constantly collecting rocks and anything that he found broken toys, drawings you name it and his backpack was always filled with alk of these things and never with school work. He was the little boy who played with his sisters baby dolls, and put them in the stroller and took them for walks to the park, because all he wanted to do was grow up and be a dad. There’s no doubt in my mind that he would’ve been the greatest man the greatest father, this world had ever seen. He loved his dog Deimos. They grew up together and they were the best of friends. Tyson was too beautiful for this world. I always knew that I just didn’t know it meant he was going to be taken from us too soon. Tyson passed away on September 27, 2019. Nothing will ever be the same without him, but this, this is all too remember him.
So remember his smile remember his laughter remember his I love you’s, and his creations he made remember him for being a walking ray of sunshine that lit up the darkness for everyone around him.
5 years with you was never enough but they were the best 5 years and i’ll cherish every moment we had.
